Foam matt under acrylic tank?

I keep reading different opinions on this. I can’t get the top of my stand perfectly level so I’m considering doing a foam matt to ensure complete bottom contact on my acrylic frag tank. The tank is 75g. What do you guys think? I’m getting really frustrated trying to make this thing work so far

I would shim the stand and have a thin foam mat under your tank.

Yeah the stand itself is easy to level. Just the top no matter what I do has gaps between it and the acrylic. Foam mat should fix that I guess

Use a sander or planer an unlevel top on your stand usually makes for a busted tank a few months down the road.
