I am building a 2x4 stand. Should I use foam or neoprene under my glass tank with casing?

Rimless = yes.

I used pink insulation foam for my recent build.

I've heard that it can put pressure on the bottom glass. I'm not really sure how much of an issue it would be though.
The main reason would be that it is not really needed. On a rimmed tank, the bottom glass isn't in contact with the stand. I first thought that foam would help with leveling, but it's really just to make sure the surface of the stand is flat and even.

Thanks sundog. I think I've decided the same.
