so I just wanted to post up a long term report about my foam rock wall. It is just over 8 years old. And has held up great
i did allot of reading on other forums about it and i decided to go with touch n foam pond foam i got it off e-bay for $8 A can. i chose this foam because on the front of it it said it was safe for fish so that put my mind at ease a little. then i epoxied it with z-poxy also from ebay the only thing i would do differently is buy more epoxy and put it on a bit thicker so the sand stuck a bit thicker. But even 8 years later even the thin spots are still like new. I have had water tests done and I m happy to say I have no unusual levels or anything leaching from the wall. And none of the foam has broke down. It’s just like new. I even took this wall off my old tank and reused it on my new one! So maybe this will put peoples minds at ease when building a foam wall
