For those of you with the rimless Marineland tanks ( specifically the 93 cube) are you putting foam underneath your tank?

I don't think Marineland recommends doing it, but that may just be for their stands. Mines on a stand I built so I put foam under it just to be safe

IMO always listen to the tank builders and if you have a question ask them directly. This is one of the issues where IMO it's better to not listen to forums and only to the manufacture. If it's not clear about if their stands or not just ask them for more info. Proper tank support is too important to ignore. There is the FAQ section from them that says no, but I would still ask them:

Question
Should I put closed-cell foam under the 93g rimless?
What is the manufacturer's recommendation, foam (type?) or no foam? Thanks

The manufacturer does not reccommend foam under any of their tanks. I have a custom stand but it is an "open top" type just like Marineland sells for these tanks.
