Hey,
So I've recentely installed UV Sterlizier, the intake is after the reef-matt, and there has been loads of microbubles, it drops in the return champer, and there has only been loads of microbubbles so I'd appreciate if anyone knows how to fix that
also the water level has increased in the sump, so the skimmer was over-skimming, i turned it off for 2 days, i put it on the lowest setting, and woke up to this
any idea on how I can fix these issues?

Thanks!

To me (the image above) this looks like foam/skim from when your skimmer overflowed. I'd take some paper towel and try to "lift" out as much as you can. You can also temporarily remove/rinse the black filter sponge (just under hot water, wring out and let dry for an hour) to encourage more water flow.

As for the micro bubbles, without seeing a picture of how you have your UV mounted/configured I'd just be guessing - but maybe there's some air in it? I have my UV pump after my ReefMat as well but I have it deposit the return water in the skimmer chamber as opposed to the return chamber.

Yes, the UV is upside down - yes, this isn't the recommended way to run it - but I've figured out a workaround (you can see the UV pump/intake to the left, UP barbs up on top and the outtake at the back between the pair of reactors).
