Hey there, I will be going away for about 2 weeks. Normally I only feed Larry's reef frenzy but the person watching/taking care of tank doesn' want to deal with frozen. What do you recommend for flake Food? Thanks!

Depends on fish, but NLS pellets seem to be taken gladly by most, though you might try getting them used to it before you leave.

I usually put frozen food in shot glasses in fridge for daily feedings when I have friends watch tank, it would be nice to have some frozen food feedings while gone

I put a cube of mysis or whatever and a little di water and set a shot glass for every day I'll be gone in fridge, and I use shot glasses just because glass, so I tell people if you happen to drop it in tank or something, just leave it.
I know most of my non reef friends are afraid to touch anything in tank, so I try to make it stupid easy for them.
Plenty of top off water sitting near, list of reef friends in case of emergency.

New life spectrum pellets, pretty popular, fish love them.
I have those in an eheim autofeeder already, gives a daily dose while at work, and if I'm unexpectedly gone for the day I don't stress, fish got at least one feeding, and that also helps when going away, just in case reef sitter forgot.

I use the 1 or 2 ounce plastic cups with lids (saved from frag swaps and local hobbyists) for tank sitters when I'm away for longer than 3 or 4 days. You can portion out each day's worth of food and tell them to fill the cup with tank water to thaw, close, shake, and pour in the tank. In my experience, pellets and other dry foods are easily overfed by tank sitters who don't know that a little goes a long way. Whether you go with frozen or dry foods, definitely portion it out for them or they will almost always heavily overfeed.

Thank you, good idea
