What does everyone think of the San Francisco Bay brand food like in the link below?

Just wondering if its a decent food for our fish.
They make many different varieties.

Its a good product. Its not as clean as Hikari fish food, but a good bargain if you can catch on sale....and you get more than Hikari. The extra morsals in the food help feed the corals

When you say "clean" are you referring to the quality of the product, or it can add unwanted phosphates or something else to your tank?

I use it my fish like it my corals like it. It’s packaged better then pe. For sure .. I can pop a cube into my feeding cup and not have my hands smell of dead fish afterwards which is nice.

It's a good brand, used in the past. If your looking for the best IMO, look up reef nutrition and LRS reef frenzy.

I enjoy LRS but boy for whatever reason it makes my little CPR bak pak skimmer go crazy. Even if I wait a couple hours. Not sure if it is normal, me doing something stupid, or the moon. But happens every time. My Rose Bubble tips love the stuff and other coral in general. Whatever is in there is magic.

No I don't mean any unwanted phosphates or critters. I have actually never tested any of my food for phosphates BTW. What I mean is if you took the cube and thawed it out and then took out only the whole brine in the cube, there is allot of fragmented brine in the cube. You could rinse the stuff through a filter and let out all of the fragments out if you like. I prefer to leave that stuff in there for my corals to eat.

Now some of the other brands, when you do the same do not have as many fragments in the cube. Basically some only have the brine and that is about it. Its like they filtered it themselves and then filled the cube with distilled water or something. You will notice the difference when you pour the brine into the aquarium as the other stuff shows up immediately in the water column.
