As the title says .
trying to figure if the food I’m offering is the cause for phosphates fluctuating up and down .
currently have higher phosphates ,
I have stopped feeding reef roids awhile ago for this same reason .

curious what is a better food choice

Perhaps and experiment? Put the amount of each food you would feed into a separate container with some salt water. Let them soak for 24hrs then test the phosphate level in each container. Perhaps that would show which puts out the most phosphate?

I’ll try it .

Unless the label says PHOSPHATE FREE, assume there is certain amounts of it TO EXTEND THE SHELFLIFE of the product, freeze-dried or not,

...from human consumption products, to dog/cat food, to farm animal feed, to tropical fish food
