Food for mushroom/zoa

What should I feed other than reefroids? Looking for a replacement that doesn’t introduce as much phosphate.

Brightwell coral amino might work. It has no phosphate

My ’Shrooms and Zoas get nothing but fish poo and uneaten small food (Cyclops, baby pellets etc). Plus of course what their Zooxanthellae produces for them. Going great guns.

We feed a combination of reefroids, coral frenzy and mysis shrimpies! Its funny because our zoas and shrooms will sometimes catch the mysis shrimp and try eat them, and you will see this shrimp sticking out of our ricordias mouth.

We get a lot of growth from our zoas when we feed. The ones that don't have a feeding response are typically the slowest growers (but are still growing!)

My optimal would be roti pods and roti feast, Reef nutrition foods

actual meat not just liquid. back When I could get those two feeds at my lfs my zos and mushrooms were strongest and I had to cull them constantly due to size limits / pico reef scape
