Food grade containers

Hi all where can I buy food grade containers and buckets to transport rodi water from my fish shop

Home Depot has 5 gallon buckets (which is really all you want to carry in each hand) which are like 3.50 for the bucket and 1.50 for the lid so 5 each, and they even have the O-ring on top. Those big orange buckets they sell in the front.

You can also buy buckets from your local sandwich shop or bulk bakery shop....icing, pickels, fondant, cherries and a few other items come in buckets and most shops will stack them. Some place give them away and some sell the buckets for a couple dollars.

I was wondering about that, I saw those listed a lot in survival forums. How do you clean those though to make it fish safe RODI water with no traces of food chems?

Food chems????? Food storage=Food safe=human safe=fish safe. Anything that holds food for you and I are safe for our fish, for the odors of pickles and what not, a soak in vinegar/water solution will do the trick.

Icing buckets are one of the more popular ones you can get for free, I just feel like icing isn't fish safe lol.

I use these. Awesome for carrying compared to a bucket. Also have a hose attachment for easy and clean pour but that is some work to make. Someone sells the hose extensions on eBay.

I use the buckets that my salt comes in or HD buckets.
