Long story short, someone *coughmywifecough* left a half bag of LRS frozen food next to the tank after feeding. it was left out for a few hours... should I toss it in the trash or freezer and continue to use?

If there is nothing else in the freezer for the fish to eat I would refreeze it at least until I got another fresh pack. I've had cube thaw that I've refrozen in the past, but they were still sealed.

Thawing and refreezing will break down the cell walls on a lot of the tissue/food. You'll see a lot more tiny particles in the water column....or at least I did when I tried that.

From a human food perspective, you have a total of 4 hours a raw product should be exposed to temperatures about 41f. This includes each time you take out of refrigeration. Now where lrs has a benefit over cubed food is it will take longer for the product’s temperature to reach these levels because of its mass being so much greater. If this servsafe analysis of the situation helps(sorry restaurant manager lol)
