What are the best foods to feed fish?
I was going to buy the Neptune crossover diet for dried food, is that a good choice?
Also is the frozen cube stuff they sell at Petsmart another good choice?

Thanks!

I feed mine primarily frozen foods: alternating between Rod's Original Blend and LRS Reef Frenzy. NLS pellets on occasion, or when I need to use the auto-feeder. Nutramar Ova as a special treat from time to time. Not sure what they sell at Petsmart.

IMO the stuff at petsmart is more catered towards freshwater fish and low-grade as well. I would try to find a specialty saltwater aquarium store or a locally owned aquarium store. The good frozen food blends are Rod's Foods, which comes in several diferent blends depending on the fish you have, or there is LRS Reef Frenzy (my personal favorite). PE Mysis is great for most fish and there's always DIY foods such as chopped up squid or shrimp medly with some selcon added as a boost :)

Best to worst: Live - Frozen - Pellets - Flake. Consider trying to find a good source to buy or you cultivate your own live worms: white worms or black worms.

Nls thera a for about 90 percent of the food, omega one flakes for the finicky eaters.

Here is what I do twice a day link

I like the "smoothie" you make for your fish. Very cool. Great idea. Thanks ;)

LOL, yes, last batch of food has lasted me about 1.5 years. It cost me about 75 dollar to make it.
