I have a freshwater tank and I know what to feed the fish in it. Is the food DIFFERENT than freshwater? The flake food?

Yes, there are different types of flakes and pellets for saltwater feeding. Most people prefer frozen foods or a combination of both. I feed frozen mysis shrimp.

Absolutely. In saltwater Flake Food is actually discouraged due to the fact that it tends to produce more nitrates. If you are looking for a solid All-in-one type food for your fish, corals and inverts then go with some Frozen LRS Reef Frenzy. I actually feed my tank a small amount of it twice a day and it takes care of just about everything.

I like cobalt flakes. Marine Omni and/or Spirulina. However I believe feeding is one of the best parts about this hobby so I have almost every frozen food known to exist for fish haha I try to feed them a very well balanced diet. I switch it up daily usually, one of the two feedings a day will be flake.
