They are actually talking about the XSi...which is already in the markeplace now and available. It also has 12.2 MP

If you pull up the link ...it shows a picture of the XSi...which you can read on the lower right part of the body of the camera pictured

Actually...after doing some snooping...you may be spot on! The XS model (it seems) may be a sub $500 DSLR model...pretty nifty!!
