For sale or not???! That's the question!!!

hey everyone!!!! So it's me again... Andrew... so my boyfriend talked to me tonight about putting the tank up for sale... here is reasoning which is justified to be very honest.

1) the about of time spent dealing with the tank from PH issues to water issues to testing the water and so on

2) the number of money that has been spent on this tank in the six months we've had it

3) the mess it water during cleaning and water changes - water spilled on the carpet and now it smells - kind of not like gross but I get it.

4) the amount of tools buckets and just stuff - limited space

So these are the top reasons he doesn't like the tank. Which I understand although it's beautiful its just caused more stress than it has relaxing.

My question is if we sale it how would I go about doing it and what would you charge? Example - if a filter is 60.00 would you sale it for 30.00 or sale it as a complete unit so total money spent 1000.00 try to sale it for 500.00??

Again we are just looking at ideas here I like the tank don't get me wrong and I don't mind the work but I understand what he is saying about the money and stress - that I completely understand!!!

Search the forum and see what other folks are selling their equipment for and sale. Depending on how fast you want to sale things, adjust the pricing accordingly. JMR

Yes, go on your local reef club forum and list them up for sale. Sad to see em go when you do sell em but you know they're going to a good home.
