Occasionally I will clean my skimmer (for show) aswell as the actual components. I try to clean out my sump on occasion as well but I’m working towards stability rather than constant maintenance. Also I don’t do water changes lol so there goes my credibility eh?

Yes I clean my tank my sump my protein skimmer my powerheads all of it just don't clean media that is covered in beneficial bacteria bio balls ceramic media Rock in the tank sand other than a little siphoning here there be good to go

Only when they seem to need it, I don’t want it “too clean” so, maybe every 4-6 months.
