For those who purchased a 4' light fixture. Question.

ok this sounds a little off, but i'm wondered for those who've purchased a 4' light fixture or greater length from online retail, or here on R2R? how do they ship and how much shipping cost would be? I mean it is a 4' or 48" and it is heavy and the cost for shipping I checked on USPS, UPS, Fedex, of course the cheapest carrier is USPS and it costs $$$$$. just put your input there, because I want to sell couple of my light fixtures and don't know where I can get a 4' long 6" wide box lol .

I shipped a 48" 8 bulb ATI powermodule few months back and it was $70, that was from fedex, and with them packing it. The box I used though was alot longer then the fixture like 58" long. It went from Kansas to somwhere on the East coast, I cant remember for sure. I shipped it to Ifarmer I believe is who it was.

I have bought several, normally the charge is about $35.00 from TX to OH, but I think if you took something to the local UPS store it would be about $70 , its mainly bc UPS sets accounts up with businesses.
