on day 14 of copper im going to transfer my fish into a sterile tank but im going to do a formaline dip in a separate 5g tank right before the transfer, im also going to time it so my next batch of fish come on the same day and i was wondering if it would be okay to dip the new batch in the same dip right after. the only problem i see is a formalin dip first thing could be a bit too stressful for them...thoughts..?

Why the dip? I would only do it if you really feel the need. Formalin is nasty stuff to the fish and to us. Be sure to read up if you are doing it.

Many reefers used to use the formalin dip protocol on incoming fish until the warnings about cancer causing, shortening the fish's life, etc. came out. For Blue/Green Chromis and the very real possibility of uronema being carried by them this "may" be a good idea as the disease does not always show external symptoms while doing damage to the fish's internal organs.

You dose Metro into the water to address external parasites. Brook and Uronema are both external parasites. But Uronema can develop into a systemic attack on the internal organs without external evidence. So feeding Metro + Focus would help address that concern as well.
