Found a bobbit worm. Fish have been disappearing.

Einice worm and likely Bobbit. There are special tanks manufactured for this type of worm :

There are hundreds of species in multiple related Genera:

Thirty-three genera have been described in the Eunicidae family.[14] Only eight are currently considered valid:[15]

  • Aciculomarphysa (Hartmann-Schroeder, 1998 in Hartmann-Schroder & Zibrowius 1998)
  • Eunice (Cuvier, 1817)
  • Euniphysa (Wesenberg-Lund, 1949)
  • Fauchaldius (Carrera-Parra & Salazar-Vallejo, 1998)
  • Lysidice (Lamarck, 1818)
  • Marphysa (Quatrefages, 1866)
  • Nematonereis (Schmarda, 1861)
  • Palola (Gray in Stair, 1847)

Eunice aphroditois (aka: the true 'Bobbit Worm'), another sizeable (up to 1 metre in length) species of Eunicidae, is harvested by scuba divers along the Italian Apulia coasts.[7] This species is collected at soft bottom ocean floors at a depth of 10 metres using specialised harvesting instruments that fit into U-shaped parchment tubes where the worm lives.[8]

I have one of these guys in a 7G and I happen to take this video today. He is quit a character. He likes to attack and acquire things to drag back to his den.
Wow, yours is a brave one! Mine is more of the 'Phantom of the Opera' type since I very rarely even catch a glimpse of it.

Ya he does crazy things…. This is an older picture. Him and the crab have made friends now, for the most part. There is a video to this and his attacks are astonishing to see. He is lighting fast. Put a line shaped hole in the emeralds outer right claw.

So you only lost fairy and flashers? They can actually be a bit difficult in terms that they are flighty and kind of derps… prone to injury.

I had a fairy in a nice planted macro tank. He decided to try and dart behind an acclimation box that was stuck tightly to the glass and killed himself doing so. Literally so many places he could have gone but nope.

Or it could have been the worm. Have to ask the magic 8 ball to know!
