My personal rule... never trust a crab. ESPECIALLY one you didn't buy on purpose. Can't tell from the pics, but if it's white and hairy, you might have some problems in the future.

I believe it is white and hairy. Hard to tell as it has algae stuck all over itself. Guess I will be trying to catch him then.

Sounds like a gorilla crab. One of those cost me a Coral Beauty Angel once... Almost made me get rid of my hermits and deal with the algae growth some other way.

Definitely has spider crab features and is a decorator. So, I would guess Spider Decorator Crab.

Looks like some sort of decorator crab, if you don't want to keep it im fairly sure you could find a new home for it.

Imo put him in your sump if you have one.

Ya looks to be a decorator to me I seen one before in a buddy's tank with polyps all over it lol looked funny.
