So, got a sweet deal on a decent sized Lobo at Reefpalooza today.

Got home, dipped all Corals after acclimation, and while dipping the Lobo, a big almost worm thing shot out from underneath/Inside a cavern in the coral. I was a bit freaked out at first, but let it settle in the dip for a few minutes.

Pulled it out, it was actually a hard shell that resembled a tiny Conch Shell, but it was Black and White Striped, never seen a Conch that color.

Pulled out of dip, and crushed it to verify it was a Shell type of something.

Sorry, no pics, as I said I crushed it.

It was literally about 1/4" in size.

Any ideas of what this was??

Really hard to tell from a description only.

Possibly a Gall Crab?

Definitely not a Gall Crab.

The thing had the shape of a conch shell, but a huge black worm shot out of it, then back into the shell, it was black and white striped..
Like nothing I've seen before.

I would've loved to have seen a picture...

Sounds like a flatty or slug to me
Possibly a Zebra flatworm inhabiting an old shell?
