Yes, I think it is a Molly miller, all the cirri on its head would point to that.Lawn mower blennys are from the indo-pacific. Looks more like a Molly miller blend to me, they're found in the Caribbean. They'll eat small aiptasia if you're lucky
At first glance I was thinking it was a goby but it’s too large to be a goby from around the Caribbean. Looks a lot like a Molly Miller though
Either a seaweed blenny (Parablennius marmoreus) or a Molly Miller Blenny (Scartella cristata).
I have a seaweed blenny in my 180 and I have no issues with it going after my sexy shrimp or 3 porcelain crabs. That doesn't mean it won't, as all fish are different.Another thing, since the info I found says eat small crustaceans,, I have a 1 1/2 in dancing shrimp & several porcelain & pompom crabs. Will this be an issue?
I do know they like pods so hopefully that's what they were meaning. The info was on Live Aquaria site & I haven't looked further yet.I have a seaweed blenny in my 180 and I have no issues with it going after my sexy shrimp or 3 porcelain crabs. That doesn't mean it won't, as all fish are different.
I wonder if the info is referring to amphipods and such, as mine will eat one of them in a heartbeat.
The dancing shrimp hides out in the Anemone so that should help...loldepending on respective sizes you certainly run a risk - the crabs may be better suited for defense - am not familiar with dancing shrimp - but best of luck - I would take a cool blenny with a story behind it over a shrimp most any day - smirks
yup..The dancing shrimp hides out in the Anemone so that should help...lol
