Found in sock in the sump can

Found several of these in my sock. Most were much longer. Anyone know what it is? Thanks

Glad you could get that down, that could have been dangerous... I wonder how that happened?
That appears to be a newly split bristleworm, harmless CUC. Keep in mind they can sting you if you grab then directly.
