I just want to say welcome to r2r snd do not feel bad for not knowing everything right away. I'm 25 plus yrs into this hobby and I learn every single time I read r2r.

What the video doesn’t catch is the blue tang does that then does a circular motion and rubs against the other rock to the left. I found that pretty weird just wasn’t fast enough to record it.

I’ve notice my blue tang doings this a lot in this specific area also.

He's definitely uncomfortable about something ... and he's targeting his lower gill area, which could indicate flukes, ich, or any parasite that targets that gill area.
