Found new creatures in my reef..what are they?

Hi guys,

Can anyone help identify these white hairy caterpillar looking creatures I found this morning on my glass in my reef? They have hair like extensions in segments on their back and antenna too. Safe or not?

looks like a type of nudibranch? But I am no expert!

Nudibranch, those look like monty eating nudis. A clearer picture would help considerably..

Welcome to R2R! Nudibranch, looks like Tritoniopsis elegans, coral eating, remove them.

Yes, looks like Nudibranch. The trick is identifying what kind. Some can harm zoas, montipora and other softies.
Might have hitchhiked in on coral. This is a good reminder to always dip!
Hopefully someone else can make an identification.

I also agree with montipora eating nudies. If you don't have any montipora in your system they should starve themselves out over time.

Thanks. I know the pics are not great. Hard to take them as the camera kept focusing on back ground when that close. They fell off the glass about 10 minuets ago and now I can’t find them. Hope they are not harmful
