I ordered rock from KP Aquatics and now that the water in my tank has cleared a bit, I’m finding cool things. But I don’t know what this is... sorry for picture quality...

Are you able to make another photo on it ? (if need few more and not only on zoom please), it look a little bit like a spider to me..., or feather dusters sponge (if isn't moving by it self and it's fluffy.
Try to get photos from different angle :)

It is stationary..and it looks a little fluffy..

To me it look like red grape macro alg. with hair algae on it (I got like this while ago during cycling new NANO tank with macro algae in, but my CUC take care on it and now only the red grape in the sump have some hair like and red cyano bacteria algae on it)Sorry Dude, can't help much with that.
If you are able try to touch it with fingers, look if the fluffy part go off of it, actually if its not like tentacles isn't coral, is it green that hair like on it ?(if., then hayr algae).
(the main part look like red grape macro algae to me, with something which cover it ...)

I have some of the same stuff ... from the very same source. Not horribly unattractive, nor terribly invasive - this one just kind of hangs out. Haven't been able to find out what it's called, though.

~Bruce, by way of subscribing to the thread . . .

Yea... this has no algae on it. It’s definitely a critter of some type... maybe a sea whip or something. It’s plain but I’ll keep it unless it causes an issue
