Do a good inspection on them over next few days to see if they have any pyramid snails at the bottom then should be fine. If they do, scrub them with a toothbrush all over the shell. The eggs look like blobs of goo

That's a great find if petco's what ya got. It is for me where I am. Better LFS is over 40 minutes away... Luckily there's a guy who really cares running the fish dept. Anyway, looks pretty good to me; go for it! I would :)

Both look great can't choose which one, maybe the smaller one??

Petcos clams and corals are all captive bred from ORA. All of their captive bred fish are from ORA as well.

If the clam is healthy, have at it.

No I mean like, their lights are guaranteed probably not good enough. With pyramid snails, takes a few days and just leaving them at petco won’t resolve the pyramid snails if any. You need to pick up the clam and look under it every night for a week or so.

My petco here has been getting clams in, They usually die within a week or so because of how crappy their stock lighting is. The price is good on them, I believe its 89.99 here. Now, getting them to put it in a tank that doesnt have peppermint shrimp to rip it to pieces is a different story entirely.

Yeah, it doesn't look like their lighting is very good. One looks a little bleached to me, but that could just be the angle, lighting etc. Look for new shell growth, full color on the mantle and pests. Otherwise, great find! Make sure you have plenty of room for it to grow and slowly acclimate it to your lighting.
