found this post dip and inspection.
has texture but not free moving
bought from very reliable local shop

placed it in QT till I know what it is

thanks - not apparently motile - has a distinctive green jagged pattern on an otherwise all black background

Tunicate seems more like it than sponge on close examination

tunicates always have the holes in pairs, I cant quite see any holes in the picture so youll have to check it. sponge or tunicate are for the most part harmless
 
It’s a colonial tunicate/sea squirt and capable of growing quickly depending on genus(pic a little dark) especially if Botrylloides genus
