Found something growing on my Lobo

Found a purple growth on my Lobos skeleton, would really appreciate some help identifying it and if I should get rid of it or keep it. I’ve had the coral about 7 months. It’s one that survived a weekend my AC went out and my house temp went to 90F and killed a few of my corals and some didn’t completely die but haven’t bounced back

Almost looks like tubes from a duster or hydroid, but could just be sponge growth

Might be one of those massive vermetid snails; not all of them are pinhead-sized.

Vermetid snails are sessile, tube-like snails. These irritate corals by extending mucus nets to capture food and can multiply rapidly. Crush the base of the shell or glue the openings shut.
