Found something in between zoas

I found something in between the zoas heads - looks like a pinwheel or daisy with a white centre dot. Is this something I need to worry about. The zoas are not opening up like they used to. Thanks for any feedback.

Could be clauvularia over anthelia but i dont see.any telltale stolons...

+1 that stuff will smother the zoas and spread like wild fire. You dont have any sympodium in the tank anywhere do you?

No sympodium, no clavularia, no anthelia. Could this have hitchhiked?

I thinking of removing the whole frag and clean it. Any suggestions?

Try plucking it out of the zoas most should come off easily might take a couple times...

Yes, looks like it. I already plucked them out but I have another problem which I'll post in a new thread. Just when I thought everything was already stable...

I would frag a couple zoas off and ditch the rest before this becomes invasive.
