Found these today

Hi all
Founf these today on one of my hammers. Its kinda pretty but is it invasive and should I get rid of it..
I hope the photos are ok, if they arnt I am expecting some filters for the phone cam tomorrow
thx for the help. they have a small purplish petal and bright centre

Personally, I like them, Xenia, and other "invasive" corals. Just want to make sure they are contained so maybe consider removing from hammer if you can and place on a rock distant from other corals - be careful not to inadvertently "frag" them when you are working on your tank. As others have said they are clove polyps and I love mine!

It's like gsp. It'll take over if your not careful. It's very pretty on a rock to itself.

oki so I pulled the rock out and had a real good look under a magnifying glass and there where little specks all over the hammer....I got the dental tools and removed th larger ones and scrapped off as much as I could see. lets see how we go from here. If they pop back up a scrap and cotton bud with h2o2 fix it ya reckon...cheers
