I think one of these is an isopod - it's pretty large - about the size of a pea. The other looks like some sort of red worm. The dark part on the worm is from it being cut in half while trying to remove it from my filter sock.

First picture is a pod. Perfectly harmless and a good thing :) Second looks like part of a bristleworm. Not sure what that is wrapped around it though. Also harmless and a good thing :)

That is it's guts coming out - is it the good kind or bad kind of bristle worm? He's dead now :(.

Looks like a normal bristle worm. The good kind :) What kind of fish do you have, its possible if you have a sixline wrasse or similar it was in the process of eating it when it got sucked into your overflow.

I have yellow tangs, a red hawk fish, a clown fish, and some green chromis as well as a cleaner wrasse.

I put the pod back but the worm was dead. I am guessing if I have one - I have more - which may explain where the carcasses of the fish that have died have ended up.

I was a little worried with the worm being red instead of white that it was something bad.
