Found this floating around in my tank

Any ideas on what this is? I was thinking maybe something shed and left this behind?

From the picture, it looks like a gammarid amphipod molt a.k.a. a good pod's dead, shedded shell.

That’s a very normal, regular occurrence in a thriving tank.

Yep. That's a sheded shell of an amphipod, i can see them floating around my tank everyday
