Found this floating around last night.

There were some translucent bits attached to it that glowed green under a uv light. Seemed to be pretty light as it was getting pushed around in the current in the tank. There is a nem and clown in the tank that I had just fed reef plankton to earlier that day which is about the same color as this? Could this alternatively be a dead snail that a crab evicted from its shell?

I was hoping it was that, but my wife said she saw the clown go after it and it was food. Blew apart when it started picking at it.

Red ball or finger sponge. Clowns are dumb and will go after a stick of dynamite if it is suspended lol
