Found this in my cheato

It’s tiny. Kind of looks like a clear anemone - not sure what it is, any ideas?

After some searching I think it’s a ball anemone. Can anyone confirm? And if so is it good or bad lol. I read people say keep it and some say kill it - so not sure. I only see the one- but I have nothing new in the tank or refugium so I imagine there must be more as I don’t think it would come from no where.

Personally have 3 different SP ball anemone (strawberry anemone etc ..) And they aren't bad appearance. They don't multiply as crazy (for 4 months got 2-3 more from the parents), don't disturb other corals, aren't like the Aiptasia or Majano anemone and I don't think they are pests. They are beautiful appearance to my system and I like them. You have colorful one, and under RB or just blue, or UV/Blue you will see some better colorations and you will like it as well, but they don't appear usually under very bright light (one of my is under bright light yes, but the rest are under lower light)

Ball nem. I personally avoid them if I can. Had three huge ones in my display that stung a chalice frag to death. They don't multiply like aptasia but I avoid adding anything that can sting expensive frags lol

You’ll find ball anemone, pineapple sponge, aptasia, pods and bristle worms in chaeto
