While doing some maintenance today I found 2 metal rusted pieces underneath my return pump. I don't know how long they been there. Most of my corals look healthy, about 3 months ago my bubble coral started receding but I thought it was due to tissue damage, about 2 weeks ago I removed it because one of my hammers lost a head and I thought it was due to the bubble raising ammona. All other corals look healthy only casualties where the one hammer head lost and a acan head.

What else can I do on top of water changes to help

Thank you, I'll try that, I'm glad nothing else died

+ 1 on water changes. Think I'd add some activated carbon to bind/export organics and any metals attached to them; understand some would disagree btw. Good luck

I believe Triton sells a metal detox that may be worth looking at.

Thank you, I'll look in to that, for now water changes
