So I decided to do a late night /early morning tank check to see if I could see who's knocking stuff over. Saw this thing scooting around on the glass, moving pretty quick too. This isnt anything I put in and tanks been running for quite awhile now. So out of curiosity I've been trying to id it with no luck. So i turn to the experts here. Sort of looks like a small shell on its back, but it definitely cant draw up into it at all. Any guesses welcome to further my research. Thanks

Stomatella snail! Definitely a keeper! They stay hidden generally during the day and are most commonly seen at night. Fast little buggers to. Awesome hitchhiker :)

Awesome thanks. I was a little worried but for no reason as usual lol.

No problem :) Anytime you see something in your tank that you didn't put in there it makes ya nervous. But in this case it was a good one :)

I loved my Stomatella! I’d look for him every night, and he’d be moving right along, working away. Till about a week ago, saw that a Bristleworm had made a late night snack out of him [emoji34] Oh I’ve never been more upset
