Found this on the tank at 1am.

So I decided to do a late night /early morning tank check to see if I could see who's knocking stuff over. Saw this thing scooting around on the glass, moving pretty quick too. This isnt anything I put in and tanks been running for quite awhile now. So out of curiosity I've been trying to id it with no luck. So i turn to the experts here. Sort of looks like a small shell on its back, but it definitely cant draw up into it at all. Any guesses welcome to further my research. Thanks

Stomatella snail! Definitely a keeper! They stay hidden generally during the day and are most commonly seen at night. Fast little buggers to. Awesome hitchhiker

No problem Anytime you see something in your tank that you didn't put in there it makes ya nervous. But in this case it was a good one

I loved my Stomatella! I’d look for him every night, and he’d be moving right along, working away. Till about a week ago, saw that a Bristleworm had made a late night snack out of him [emoji34] Oh I’ve never been more upset
