Found this weird swimming worm

I sa this 2 brittle looking worms swimming all over the tank in a wavy fast way does anybody knows what they are.

That is the weirdest thing I have ever seen. I've not be in the hobby the decades others have, but that is something I've never seen.

Burn it!!! Then celebrate that you've destroyed a devil's minion!!! Haha.

Looks like momma just had some babies. Bristleworms are harmless IMO, just as long as you dont touch them when your hands are in the tank. They are great for cleaning detritus.

Totally agree i got some gsp yesterday that had one in it i seen it as soon as i turned the lights out last night.

I would leave it as someone else stated they are good for detrius.
When they get about 6" long and turn all black then id prolly remove it haha!

In my old 50 I had a huge rock in the middle that i wanted to break there was a 9" bristle worm inside it it was HUGE and nasty looking, they also get pretty thick.
