Following... I think they could be pods. I add them to my tank every 2 months and have some similar looking ones on some frag plugs. Not having any problems with any corals at the moment.

Hard to tell but does look like a isopod and if it is they are mostly harmless and free fish food.

i showed them to a friend of mine who produces and sell pods... and he never seen these...

i have had issues with my acros for a while, thought the cause was many things, but symptoms did not match. they could be like little vampires and starving acros sucking zoox from them :P

I dont know what these are, but there wrecking peoples tanks that i know of, and i currently have them in my nano tank as well and they are limiting growth on 2 of my grow out colonys. No polyp extension, i feel like they eat the coral polyps. They dont come off in dips, even if you jam them in a 2000 ppm potassium chloride/sulfate dip. Iodine, bayer, none of that has worked for me. Im going to my vet on thursday to pickup interceptor to dose both my display and nano(and use as a dip). Please keep this updated, theres alot of people i know with them and there still looking for advice

out of curiousity, do you have picture of your colony, i have been trying to find picture online that fits my symptoms, no luck so far. for me it start with loss of color toward the center of colony, it gets to a point that heavily affected colony turn white, it's not STN or RTN, tissu is still present, polyps are still visible but slowly die over time.

I have been looking since Feb-March, what could affect my acros...

Gonna treat interceptor today, i had no luck to catch my ref fire shrimp, cleaner shrimp and pistol shrimp, plus my 3 emerald crabs. :(

they are realy tiny, i had to be in macro at like 0.5-1'' from them to be able to zoom on them. I spend a llot of time taking picture, looking for pest... been 5 months... and i just found them on newly affected colony

Im positive there exactly the same as whats shown above. They legit dont come off in dips. Got to the point where I was sucking them up with a salifert syringe lol

They seems to live in Polyp.... watch it die!!! ;Vamp;Vamp;Vamp;Vamp;Vamp;Vamp
i watched for a while going in and out before i decided to take the video!!
You have no idea how much i appreciate you posting this, how long has it been since the interceptor was added? I wanted to try and use it as a dip considering my nano is more of a invert tank.

i added 1/3 of a tablet. video was around 20-30min after i added it to the tank.

You have no idea how much i appreciate you posting this,

it's all about sharing experience, i try to find that info for ever online... never found anything like what i had.
