Found tiny fish

So my dad looked in our reffugeum anf saw a tiny 1 1/2 inch fish in our macro algae.
Way better pic this time... moved the little guy to a breeder box and giving him all the rotifers and pods he can eat.
Doubled in size from about a half inch to a little over and inch in about a week and boy is he fast!

These almost always seem to be rainwater killifish

Possible, but he came in as an egg on some caulerpa racemosa. AFAIK, the majority of the smaller killis bred in fresh / brackish water. I'd think it'd be pretty rare to find a viable egg in such a high salinity environment, but this hobby teaches Nachyo and I something new every day.

Either way, Boxcar Willie's earned a place in the DT. I'd prefer he be a 2" - 4" species rather than an 18" Gulf Killi.. that would mean a major DT upgrade.
