Four 40 Breeders- which is the best configuration?

I'm getting ready to set up for 40 breeders. The footprint will be 3 by 6. Cannot decide on which layout would be the best. Each has its pros and cons, looking for some input on others opinions.
All four tanks are already drilled with the overflows on the ends.
Option 1 , I get two tanks with 3 sides of viewing, and the ability to mount any powerhead I choose on either end. But the two middle will only be viewable from the ends, though powerhead placement can be on opposite ends on all four tanks.
Option 2, I get one tank with 3 sides, two with two sides, and on with just viewing from the ends. Two tanks with limited powerhead choices, and two that can have powerheads mounted on opposite ends.
Option 3, I get two sides for viewing on all four tanks. But powerhead choices for the ends opposite the overflows will be limited.

Lighting is not really a concern, I can light each tank individually, or the whole lot together, depending on which way I decide to go.

Have you considered stacking them vertically? I guess I would choose option 3 out of the ones above. Although I would consider space in between the ends to mount equipment and maybe even walk through.

Thought crossed my mind back before I built the stand.
That's part of the problem, have to fit them in the 3 x 6 footprint. Wish I could go with a 12' x 18" stand, but I don't have the room

Viewing and layout would depend on the overall goal for me.. Not to mention ease of maintence and other things that would need to happen with the setup.

Have you considered having an acryllic tank made the dimensions you want and then using dividers?

That's what I'm kind of leaning towards. But I want to experiment with some different flow patterns and major intensities, and I'm not sure if only having the one end will be enough to accomplish what I want to try. Unless... I wonder if you can mount a Gyre with another gyre, instead of the outside magnet? I'm not sure why you couldn't. I'll have to reach out to CoralVue.

If I went another route, I would probably just source a 6x3 plastic tub. But, the 40's are what I've had gathering dust for quite some time now. May as well use them. Not to mention, the 40's are replacing a 2x4 acrylic tank that blew a seam.
