Four Months- How does the tank look? Suggestions

I have a poor man's 40 gallon breeder with a HOB that runs filter floss and Chemi-pure elite. Started with 40 pounds of dry rock, and 40 pounds of Fiji Pink Live Rock.


Current inhabitants.

2 Clownfish
1 Azure Damsel
1 Pajama bottom
1 Anemone (Exact type unknown) - Purchased at Petsmart.

CUC I have
5 Trochus Snails, 5 Cerith Snails and a Pincushion Urchin.

First Saltwater tank so what you see if what you get based on just research and these forums. So treat me like a newbie, cause as far as salt water. I am indeed one.

Seems very well done to me. Are you thinking of painting the back with flat black Rustoleum (we’re buying a black background from the pet store) to hide the HOB and make the rocks ‘pop’ a little more? At this stage that would be my only suggestion, because you’re doing great!
