FOWLR New Setup update!

So I took everyone's advice and added more live rock, so about 50lbs total. I not gonna lie I preferred the look with less rock. I'm not completely satisfied with how I laid the rock.
Check out the before and after pictures

What does everyone think????

Much better:) I would personally try stacking the rocks a bit to build then up higher, but I prefer taller rock structures. I always Google aquascaping images before an upgrade so I can get an idea of how I want my rock to look in a new tank. It never ends up like the pic, but after trial and error I always come up with something I can live with:)

I lied to myself looks better with more rock haha

Agreed! A great look is to build two tall "towers" on either side of the tank and leave the middle a bit more open. Leave room on either side and the front so you can easily clean the glass.

I did something similar for this tank, but I added a small pillar in the middle back for more invasive things I want to keep seperate.

To the OP, start playing with the rock a bit, bust out the water weld, and I bet you will come up with something awesome in no time;)
