Fowlr top off.

Hello I wanted to know as far as just topping of the water level in my fowlr tank can I use plain ro/di water or distilled water? Or does the water need to be mixed with salt like if I was doing a water change. My lfs sells plain ro/di water and also ro/di water mixed with salt. Thanks

You always top off with RO/DI. Salt doesn't evaporate, so if you top off with saltwater, your salinity will get to high. The only time you add saltwater is when you do a water change.

Ok I was not sure about it and I looked online and could not get an answer because people were saying both or I was just misunderstanding what I was reading lol.
