I just discovered that my sailfin tang has ich. The tank is 150 gallons and I was wondering if there is any way to treat the display tank. I am not home currently but I have someone watching the tank. I asked if he was the only one with ich but she said she's not sure. She did say that she thinks she saw other fish with ich as well. I was looking at cupramine as an option. I have a fluval fx6 running on the tank and I plan to clean the filter asap.

It’s difficult to dose in a display due to the absorption of the rock and sand. It will kill and inverts you have in there and those rocks will always have copper in them.

Do you have any suggestions of what I should do?

Best way to treat your fish is using a QT with either copper or chloroquine phosphate. If you have no coral or inverts you can try to treat your display with copper, and there have been posts on here about how people have done that and later added coral. Keep in mind your substrate and rock will absorb the copper and leach it out once you stop treating.
