Fox face eating coral

So I’ve had this fox face for close to 4 years now literally came as a baby. He is well fed and fat and appears healthy. He grazes around the tank constantly. I bought a monti cap a week ago and glued it to the rockwork only to wake up today and see it on the sand bed. Picked it back up and left it on a little rack to see my fox face nibbling at it.

Does this look like he’s eating it?

How the heck am I getting this fish out the tank if it is as he loves hiding in the rockwork as soon as you get

Can you add him nori sheet tied to a rock? Is that the inly coral he's nibbling on?

they eat nori twice a day too already yes it’s the only coral I’ve seen him pick at

Why on earth would you take a fish out just for one coral? And yes he's definitely munching on it but may leave it alone after a while.

My Foxface eats clove polyps. I don't buy clove polyps.

I mean, just tie it to a rock to distract him from the monti.

My fish see me add something and they always assume it's food. New coral are tricky to add.

I’ve never been able to keep any sps and I assumed it was my water parameters. But now I think it may be the foxface. I don’t want just softies they bore me I want to try sps

Well, no tips on removing the fox other than a double net. One to heard him into the other net.

When you rehome him, hopefully you'll be able to keep your sps.

Don’t think I could get him out even if I wanted to. Might just forget my dream of sps in that case as I’ve had him since he was tiny.

or get a tank for coral only
