Fox face having a temper tantrum after introduction 2 tangs

Like the title states. Added a yellow tang and kole eye tang this afternoon and the fox face is not happy right now. Extremely stressed and lost his ****.

Is this normal? I feel extremely bad for both parties. The light are off right now and the fox face went to bed and the tangs are exploding the tank right now.

Everyone seems to have relaxed once the light completely turned off. This is the first time I have tangs…

My tangs give my foxface a hard time but they stopped tail flicking it once the foxface stung the sailfin. The foxface realized that the tangs couldn't mess with it and they settled in just fine once everyone sorted that out.

Fox face are very sensitive to anything new! And sensitive in general. Geez if I go near my tank at night he FREAKS out and always worried will hurt himself. my hippo tang and foxface always square off and the hippo knows his limits with him. I am sure they will settle down. In end I guess I am saying they will be fine. Just some adjusting.

Should I turn the lights on tomorrow later then usual? The darkness seems to have relaxed everyone including the small fish

You could leave the lights off a bit longer or just turn them down a bit for a day or two. Feeding always brings everyone together.

I say just do normal routine at this point . They will have to learn sooner or later and they got the night to settle. They will square off again but try not to panic. But usually a night helps subdue it a lot.
