My foxface in my 125g tank was running free had now he is just slightly grey and just staying in one spot what can I do so that he is not in this state of mind.

No changes. Temp 76 salinity 1.026

Foxfaces go grey and hide when they are stressed.
Kids running around a tank can startle them and cause them to do what you describe.
This can happen especially if they don't have anywhere to hide and feel safe.
Can you send a pic of the fish under white lighting?
