oh no! i am sooo sorry. dead fish dont really tell what happened, any fish in the tank picking on him? did you take away his hidey hole? i just did that to my fish on accident and he just died :crying-face:

A post mortem pic is hard to use as a piece of evidence, but one spots are pretty hardy fish, as most rabbitfish are. Do you have any other fish exhibiting any sort of symptoms?

It is hard to tell when fish had died especially after a couple of hours.
Often can be trauma, flukes, velvet which are often unnoticed until they have accelerated.
Any signs from Saturday of increased respirations, loss of interest in food, swimming near powerhead, etc?
A fish ending up in powerhead is often moribund and weak

nope, they all got along, I did notice he went in the area under the rock where the Japanese Snapping Shrimp, is the last few days, but other than that everything seems to be good.

the shrimp might of tried to charge him, and the foxface hit his head and dazed him, that is the only thing i can think of

A sign that it wanted cleaning - and flukes may be suspect. It did Not hit its head and a shrimp will Not charge after a fish. . . WOW

Thanks, and no everything seems find until last night when he was hiding under the frag rag and would not eat, and looks like he was breathing slowly, than he moved to under the rock where a Japanese Snapping Shrimp, lives. He seemed very happy until Sunday when i notice at feeding time he was hiding, and not moving. Never went to the power heads or anything. Nothing new has been added to the tank. So i didnt know if was possible why i had asked. I been in for little over a year and lately been thinking of selling everything as I been failing at everything.

No no no, not failing. This could very possibly not be in your control, sometimes there are genetic issues that are out of your control and causes a fish to just die no matter what. Some deaths can never be explained so dont fret. I am terribly sorry for the loss of your fish. The worst thing you can do is give up. We have ALL had ups and downs, and myself have had some serious downs.

The #fishmedic will be able to give you all the insight they can to help you with this issue, and if it is something you can deal with, they will put you on the right track. You are in the right place!

These things happen. Loss is discouraging but first is to find cause. Any time you see or suspect something unusual, take pics and videos as documentation and post for assessment

nope they all seem to happy and eating and swimming around. I do run uv 24/7 and had assumed that should help with diseas and stuff

In certain cases it has been shown to help control parasites, but not eradication. Im not expert, but its hard to not see this as a one off. I would keep a close eye on the other fish for development of symptoms.
