i just got a one spot fox face. I have some algea in a few spots that I cant get to it. I heard they are great algae eaters. Are they reef safe? Liveaquaria says with caution.
I have mix reef. He is small too

I have not had a issue with mine, he eats every type of algae I have had in my tank. He even ate the bubble algae I couldn't get to.

Thats good! I hope mine doesnt eat any corals or harm any fish... He is small and cute.. I couldnt let it pass.... Even know He is venemous

just make sure he has some algae to eat. Every couple of days I will add either nori or live macro just to give something different to eat besides the what is growing in the tank and what I feed the rest of the tank.

I will! thank you for the reply

Mine has been fine, eats any algae I also feed nori and Larrys reef Frenze

The only times rabbitfish are not reef safe is if they are not getting enough to eat, in which case they will nip corals to eat the zooxanthellae, the symbiotic algae in it's tissue.
